When you are waiting for test results

Bring anxiety to God in prayer and His peace will guard your heart and mind.

When you are waiting for test results. There is usually more happening here than the obvious problem. There is a difference between acknowledging reality and surrendering your identity to it. One is wisdom. The other is captivity. Fear is loud because it wants to be treated like prophecy. Jesus Christ tells the truth about the future even when you cannot see it. Bring the real problem to Jesus Christ, not the polished version. He already knows what is underneath.

What story are you attaching to this situation that Jesus Christ never said about you?

Jesus Christ, show me what is true in this situation and expose the story I have added to it. Give me wisdom for my part, courage to obey You, and enough trust to leave the outcome in Your hands. Amen.
